1. Cancellations and Refunds
A. Cancellation by the Client (Parent/Guardian)
If you need to cancel a scheduled therapy session:

More than 24 hours in advance: You will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the session at no additional cost.

Less than 24 hours in advance: You will be charged 50% of the session fee, as it is difficult to fill the slot on short notice.

No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund will be provided, and you will be charged the full session fee.
Tip: If you have an unavoidable emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review requests for exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
B. Cancellation by the Therapist or Practice
If we need to cancel a session due to therapist illness, unforeseen circumstances, or scheduling conflicts, you will be offered:

A full refund for the session fee, or

The option to reschedule the session at no additional cost.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available in the following cases:

Session Cancellation: If you cancel in accordance with our policy.

Service Issues: If a session is cut short or impacted by technical issues (for online sessions) or therapist-related problems.

Package or Prepaid Sessions: If you have prepaid for multiple sessions and wish to discontinue, you can request a refund for unused sessions. However, any discounts applied to bulk bookings will be recalculated accordingly.
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are non-refundable:

Completed sessions: No refunds will be issued once a session has taken place.

Therapy reports or assessments: If we have started working on reports or assessments, they are non-refundable due to the time and expertise involved.

Administrative fees: Any processing or administrative fees (e.g., late cancellation charges) are non-refundable.
4. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Online Therapy Sessions
For online sessions, technical issues caused by our platform (e.g., server failure) will result in either:

A full refund, or

The option to reschedule the session free of charge.
If technical issues occur on the client’s side (e.g., poor internet connection), the refund policy will follow the same terms as in-person sessions.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that emergencies or extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness, family emergencies) may prevent you from attending a session. In such cases:

8. Your Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
